Sia & Sean Paul’s “Cheap Thrills” Pacing For A Third Week As Pop Radio’s #1 Song

Sia’s “Cheap Thrills (featuring Sean Paul)” will extend its pop radio reign to three weeks.

The smash hit received 13,767 spins during the first five days of the July 31-August 6 tracking week. Up 1.1% from last week’s count, the tally keeps “Cheap Thrills” at #1 on Mediabase’s building airplay chart.

The song does not face any imminent threat to its position. Calvin Harris’ “This Is What You Came For,” the #2 song on the building chart, is separated by nearly 1,000 spins. While it is gaining at a slightly faster rate than “Cheap Thrills,” it will not close the gap before tracking concludes.

twenty one pilots’ “Ride,” another potential future #1, is #3 with 12,197 spins (+6.9%). It, too, has no chance of closing the gap before the end of the week.
