The NBC Universal family of cable networks took center stage at Wednesday’s Television Critics Association Press Tour.

One of the day’s most notable panels was that for E!’s upcoming reality series “Mariah’s World.” Mariah Carey herself participated in the session, which confirmed the show’s premiere date.

“The eight-part event follows Carey as she kicks off her “Sweet Sweet Fantasy” tour of the United Kingdom, Europe and Africa, all while planning her upcoming wedding,” says E! of the series, which will air at 9PM ET on December 4.
