On the heels of her excellent performance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” Dua Lipa’s “Hotter Than Hell” has been made available to pop radio in the United States.
The song was issued to pop radio programmers and professionals via the Mediabase/AllAccess “Cool New Music” delivery service.
While label WB Records has not yet formally confirmed plans for a US push, the “Cool New Music” delivery suggests a push is definitely under consideration. Further optimism should come from the fact that the programming director for Milwaukee’s 97.3 NOW identified the song as a “hot pick” in AllAccess’ survey.
“Hotter Than Hell” has performed decently in several international markets. Notable chart peaks include #6 in Scotland, #15 on the UK singles chart and #17 on the ARIA (Australia) listing.
Following Tuesday’s “Fallon” performance, “Hotter Than Hell” is up to #472 at the US iTunes store. It was outside the Top 850 prior to the broadcast.
