Ratings Update: “Elena Of Avalor” Premiere Draws 4.2M L+3 Viewers; Brand Draws Millions Of Streams

On a live+same-day basis, last Friday’s “Elena Of Avalor” premiere drew a total of 3.24 million total viewers. 2.22 million watched 7-7:51PM broadcast on Disney Channel, while an additional 1.02 million tuned into the Disney Junior simulcast.

With three days of time-shifting included, the total viewership number tops 4 million.

Citing newly available live+3 national data, Disney Channel touts that the premiere broadcast drew 4.2 million total viewers. 2.2 million fall in the kids 2-11 demographic (5.6 rating), while 1.1 million are adults 18-49 (0.9 rating).

Not simply an attraction for conventional television viewers, the “Elena Of Avalor” brand has generated millions of digital streams. According to Disney, the brand has generated over 1.4 million digital app engagements. It has also crossed 3.9 million in total YouTube views.

The first episode — part one of Friday’s two-part premiere — currently boasts a YouTube view count of 322,460.
