Katy Perry’s “Rise” Repeats As Hot AC Radio’s Most Added Song

For the second straight week, Katy Perry’s “Rise” earns the most added honor at hot adult contemporary radio.

The Olympics anthem, which received 26 adds in conjunction with last week’s impact, was picked up by an additional 35 Mediabase-monitored Hot AC stations this week. The impressive count nearly doubles that attained by the next-most added song.

Gavin DeGraw’s “She Sets The City On Fire,” that song, scored 18 weekly adds. Wrabel’s “11 Blocks” follows in third with 16 pickups, while Britney Spears’ “Make Me (featuring G-Eazy)” (14 adds) and Lukas Graham’s “Mama Said” (12 adds) respectively rank as fourth- and fifth-most added.

This week’s other notable Hot AC options: Major Lazer’s “Cold Water (featuring Justin Bieber & MØ)” (11 adds, 6th-most added), Charlie Puth’s “We Don’t Talk Anymore (featuring Selena Gomez)” (10 adds, 7th), Calvin Harris’ “This Is What You Came For” (8 adds, 8th), James Bay’s “Hold Back The River” (6 adds, 9th), Lindsey Stirling’s “Something Wild (featuring Andrew McMahon In The Wilderness)” (5 adds, 10th, tie), and Shawn Mendes’ “Treat You Better” (5 adds, 10th, tie).
