Britney Spears’ “Make Me” Received 1,535 Day One Pop Radio Spins

Aided by hourly first day airplay promotions from numerous stations and the general enthusiasm one would expect for a new Britney Spears single, “Make Me (featuring G-Eazy)” is set to blast onto this week’s pop radio airplay chart.

Spears’ new song received 1,535 pop spins on its release day of Friday, June 15. The tally positions “Make Me” at #31 on Mediabase’s building pop chart, which ranks songs based on the first six days of the July 10-16 tracking week.

You read that correctly; “Make Me” received more pop radio airplay on Friday than all but thirty songs received from Sunday through Friday.

While “Make Me” will not receive nearly as much airplay Saturday, it will certainly remain comfortably in the Top 40 as the chart goes final. A Top 30 debut is within reach (it would probably need about 250-300 day two spins to get there).

As noted, “Make Me” received “on the hour” airplay from numerous pop stations, including most — if not all — that fall under the iHeartMedia umbrella.
