Ed Sheeran’s “The A Team” Reaches 3X Platinum In US, “Sing” 2X, “Give Me Love” Platinum, Others Gold

The RIAA certifications keep coming for Ed Sheeran.

Sheeran, who recently received multi-platinum awards for his albums “x” and “+” and his smash single “Thinking Out Loud,” garnered a handful of new song certifications on July 11, 2016.

Those certifications confirm a triple platinum award for “The A Team” (3,000,000 units), a double platinum honor for “Sing” (2,000,000 units), a platinum certification for “Give Me Love” (1,000,000 units) and gold labels for “Kiss Me,” “Tenerife Sea,” and “Drunk.”

Under the RIAA’s digital singles program, each unit is equal to 1 paid download or 150 streams.
