Weathers’ “Happy Pills” Earns Most Added Honor At Alternative Radio

Weathers’ “Happy Pills” received a healthy dose of support from alternative radio stations this week.

Enough support, in fact, to rank as the week’s most added song.

“Happy Pills” was picked up by 19 Mediabase-monitored alternative stations this week. The format-leading count more than triples that of the nearest competitors.

The 1975’s “Somebody Else” and Kungs & Cookin’ On 3 Burners’ “This Girl,” those nearest competitors, were each added by 6 stations. Glass Animals’ “Life Itself” follows in fourth place; it received 5 weekly pickups.

With 4 adds each, Bastille’s “Good Grief,” FOALS’ “What Went Down,” Panic! At The Disco’s “Don’t Threaten Me With A Good Time,” The Shelters’ “Rebel Heart,” Silversun Pickups’ “Circadian Rhythm,” Switchfoot’s “Float,” and The Moth & The Flame’s “Red Flag” land in a seven-way tie for fifth-most added.
