After multiple weeks in the #2 position, Jason Aldean’s “Lights Come On” officially ascends to #1 on this week’s Mediabase country radio singles chart.
Aldean’s song seizes the throne from Keith Urban’s “Wasted Time,” which slips to #4 after two weeks atop the chart.
Not simply the leader in chart points, “Lights Come On” also ranks as the Mediabase country panel’s most played and most heard song for the July 3-9 tracking week.
It received ~9,007 spins (+383) and ~60.746 million audience impressions during the official frame.
Up one place each, Carrie Underwood’s “Church Bells” and Florida Georgia Line’s “H.O.L.Y.” claim #2 and #3, respectively. The aforementioned “Wasted Time” is down to #4, while Eric Church’s “Record Year” holds at #5.
