Cable Ratings: “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” Rises, Wins Night; “WAGS” Also Up

Airing without competition from a hit Sunday series like “Game Of Thrones” or “The Walking Dead” or a special event like the BET Awards, E!’s “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” was able to do what it once-upon-a-time did with regularity: rank as Sunday’s #1 cable original.

According to live+same-day data posted by Showbuzz, Sunday’s “Kardashians” drew a 0.70 adults 18-49 rating and 1.51 million total viewers. While those numbers pale in comparison to the show’s historical standard, they markedly best the 0.54 rating and 1.23 million viewer mark drawn by last week’s episode.

The demo rating, more importantly, was the greatest posted by an original cable program Sunday.

“Keeping Up With Kardashians” led into “WAGS,” which improved upon last week’s premiere. Last week’s episode drew a 0.28 and 0.56 million viewers; this week’s posted a 0.32 and 0.62 million.
