Bravo is launching an awards ceremony this summer, and it has already confirmed one of the evening’s big honorees.
According to a press release, the cable company will premiere “The Bravos” at 10PM ET on Wednesday, July 20.
“‘The Bravos’ is a pop-culture infused awards show celebrating some of the buzziest, most unforgettable moments from Bravo and beyond and honoring the stand-out stars of the cultural zeitgeist in a variety of categories,” says the network.
Voting for the awards, which include categories like “most socially driven,” “cutest couple,” “who’s your daddy” and “sorry not sorry,” is open here.
Thursday’s announcement also included confirmation that Andy Cohen of “Watch What Happens Live” will host the ceremony. Mariah Carey, meanwhile, will receive the “Giving Me Life Achievement Award (and appear for a celebration that includes a “plethora of surprise guests”).
Bravo adds that Erika Jayne will perform “Pretty Mess” on the show.
