The Chainsmokers & Daya’s “Don’t Let Me Down” Pacing For #1 at Pop Radio

The Chainsmokers’ “Don’t Let Me Down (featuring Daya),” which has spent the past four weeks at #2 on the Mediabase pop radio airplay chart, finally appears headed for #1.

The single, which was recently certified platinum in the US, received 7,766 spins pop spins during the first three days of the June 19-25 tracking week.

Up 2.7% from the count at this point last week, the tally earns “Don’t Let Me Down” #1 on Mediabase’s building chart.

“DLMD” is on pace to hold that position through the close of tracking.

Justin Timberlake’s “Can’t Stop The Feeling,” which is #2 on the building chart, is down in airplay this week. The song received 7,564 spins during the tracking week’s first three days, representing a decline of 2.1% from the count at this point last week. Barring a highly unlikely reversal in trend, “CSTF” will not represent a threat this week.

Drake’s building #3 “One Dance (featuring WizKid & Kyla)” is gaining — the 7,295 spin count it registered over the week’s first few days tops last week’s mark by 7.6% — but it does not appear to be gaining fast enough to catch “Don’t Let Me Down” this week.
