Bastille’s “Good Grief” Earns Most Added Honor At Alt Radio; Twenty One Pilots, Phantogram Follow

Of the three high-profile songs that debuted at alternative radio this past week, Bastille’s “Good Grief” generated the greatest level of initial support.

Picked up by 40 Mediabase-monitored alternative stations, “Good Grief” ranks as the format’s most added song.

twenty one pilots’ “Heathens” and Phantogram’s “You Don’t Get Me High Anymore,” the other new tracks, respectively follow as second- and third-most added. The former was picked up by 27 stations, while the latter garnered 26 weekly adds.

Each added by 7 stations, Beck’s “Wow” and The Head And The Heart’s “All We Ever Knew” tie for fourth-most added.

This week’s other notable alternative options: Nothing But Thieves’ “Wake Up Call” (6 adds, 6th), Dirty Heads’ “That’s All I Need” (5 adds, 7th), CHVRCHES’ “Bury It (featuring Hayley Williams)” (4 adds, 8th), Glass Animals’ “Life Itself” (3 adds, 9th), Barns Courtney’s “Fire” (2 adds, 10th, tie), The Hunna’s “You & Me” (2 adds, 10th, tie) and M83’s “Go (featuring Mai Lan)” (2 adds, 10th, tie).
