Nick Jonas’ “Last Year Was Complicated” Earns #1 on US iTunes Sales Chart; Jon Bellion, Kaleo Follow

Nick Jonas’ “Last Year Was Complicated,” which was made available for purchase late Thursday night, predictably rocketed up the US iTunes sales chart.

As of 1:50AM ET Friday, Jonas’ new album is #1 on the chart.

It is one of four new releases presently in the Top 5.

Jon Bellion’s new “The Human Condition” follows at #2, Kaleo’s just-released “A/B” is #3, and Garbage’s newly released “Strnage Little Birds” currently occupies #5. Beyonce’s enduring “Lemonade,” the lone holdover currently in the Top 4, is slotted at #4.

The balance of the Top 10 includes Fitz & The Tantrums’ new “Fitz & The Tantrums” at #6, Band Of Horses’ new “Why Are You OK” at #7, KONGOS’ new “Egomaniac” at #8, the “Hamilton” cast recording at #9, and Drake’s “Views” at #10.

Specific sales projections for the week’s key new releases should emerge this weekend.
