FX’s “The Americans” Enjoys Ratings Gain For Penultimate Season 4 Episode

Wednesday’s “The Americans,” which was the penultimate fourth season installment, posted week-to-week gains in adults 18-49 and total viewership.

According to national data posted by Showbuzz, this week’s episode drew a 0.31 adults 18-49 rating and 0.93 million total viewers. The numbers best last week’s 0.21 rating and 0.81 million viewer mark, which both ranked as season lows.

This week’s adults 18-49 rating was actually the show’s best since the 0.32 drawn by the April 6 episode. The viewership mark was the best since the 1.02 million tally posted on May 4.

The fourth season finale airs next week. FX recently renewed the critically acclaimed drama for a thirteen-episode fifth season and a ten-episode sixth and final season.
