Numerous songs spotlighted during last week’s two-part “The Voice” finale — including recordings by the top three finishers — land on this week’s Billboard Hot 100.
Several others debut on the latest edition of Bubbling Under Hot 100, which ranks the top songs that have yet to appear on that actual Hot 100 chart.
“The Voice” winner takes #2 on Bubbling Under with her version of “Somewhere.” Laith al-Saadi’s “Morning Light” earns #6 on the chart, while Hannah Huston’s “I Call The Shots” arrives at #11.
Jennifer Nettles’ “Unlove You,” which the artist performed alongside Porter on Tuesday’s finale, claims #16 on this week’s Bubbling Under chart. Runner-up Adam Wakefield takes #21 with “When I Call Your Name,” one spot ahead of the #22 ranking earned by Blake Shelton’s “She’s Got A Way With Words.”
Shelton performed “Words,” which is the second radio single from his “If I’m Honest,” on Tuesday’s season finale.
— “The Voice” contestants are represented on the actual Hot 100 by Adam Wakefield’s #73 “Lonesome Broken and Blue,” Hannah Huston’s #94 “Every Breath You Take,” Alisan Porter’s #100 “Down That Road.” The show also helped fuel a #34-24 rise for Sia’s “Cheap Thrills” and a #51 re-entry for Ariana Grande’s “Into You.”
