Josh Turner’s “Hometown Girl” Ranks As Country Radio’s Most Added; Dierks Bentley Follows

Josh Turner’s “Hometown Girl” is receiving a warm welcome from country radio.

Picked up by 59 Mediabase-monitored stations this week, “Hometown Girl” ranks as the country format’s most added song.

Turner’s single was the Mediabase country panel’s #71 song during the May 22-28 tracking week. With so many stations confirming their support, it should definitely move higher in the coming weeks.

Dierks Bentley’s new “Different For Girls (featuring Elle King)” takes second on this week’s add board. The follow-up to “Somewhere On A Beach” received 45 weekly adds.

The Cadillac Three’s new “Drunk Like You” takes third with 21 adds, while Brad Paisley’s “Without A Fight (featuring Demi Lovato)” (16 adds) and Brett Eldredge’s “Wanna Be That Song” (15 adds) respectively take fourth and fifth on the weekly add board.

This week’s other notable country radio options: Cole Swindell’s “Middle Of A Memory” (13 adds, 6th), Brett Young’s “Sleep Without You” (11 adds, 7th, tie), Jerrod Niemann & Lee Brice’s “A Little More Love” (11 adds, 7th, tie), Granger Smith’s “If The Boot Fits” (10 adds, 9th), and Chris Young’s “Sober Saturday Night (featuring Vince Gill)” (9 adds, 10th).
