“Came Here To Forget” Becomes Blake Shelton’s 22nd Country Radio #1

Up three places from last week’s position, Blake Shelton’s “Came Here To Forget” claims #1 on this week’s Mediabase country radio singles chart.

In doing so, it becomes the country superstar’s 22nd career #1. It is his seventeenth straight single to reach the chart’s apex.

Not simply the leader in Mediabase chart points, “Came Here To Forget” also ranks as the May 22-28 tracking week’s most played and most heard song.

It received ~8,588 Mediabase-monitored spins (+703) and ~58.807 million Mediabase-monitored impressions this week.

“Came Here To Forget” seizes the Mediabase throne from Dustin Lynch’s “Mind Reader,” which slips to #5. Old Dominion’s “Snapback” is stationary at #2, while Thomas Rhett’s “T-Shirt” (#3, +2) and Luke Bryan’s “Huntin’, Fishin’ And Lovin’ Every Day” (#4, +2) also appear inside the Top 5.
