Ariana Grande’s “Dangerous Woman” Claims #1 on US iTunes Sales Chart; Blake Shelton #2

The week’s new albums are officially available on the US iTunes store.

The two highest-profile of those album releases now claim the top two slots on the album sales chart.

As of 11:50PM ET, Ariana Grande’s new “Dangerous Woman” is #1 on the listing. Blake Shelton’s “If I’m Honest” follows at #2.

While success on the iTunes chart does not always translate to the broader market, it is expected to do so in this case. Ariana Grande’s album entered the week as the favorite to win the overall weekly album sales race, while “If I’m Honest” is also expected to score a top spot.

Beyonce’s “Lemonade,” which held the top spot prior to the release of the new music, is currently #3 on the chart. Drake’s “Views” is #4, while Taylor Swift’s discounted “1989” is #5.

Issues’ new “Headspace” is #6, ahead of Eric Clapton’s #7 “I Still Do,” Radiohead’s #8 “A Moon Shaped Pool,” Meghan Trainor’s #9 “Thank You” and Meghan Trainor’s #10 “Title.”
