Charlie Puth & Selena Gomez’ “We Don’t Talk Anymore” Gaining Pop Airplay

Earlier this month, Headline Planet noted that Charlie Puth’s “We Don’t Talk Anymore (featuring Selena Gomez)” was receiving early pop airplay on Indianapolis’ 99.5 WZPL and Portland’s Live 95.5.

Those stations continue to support the song. But now that the song has been officially named Charlie Puth’s new single and been confirmed for a May 24 impact date, several others are joining the mix.

Over the past seven days, “We Don’t Talk Anymore” received new airplay from several pop stations in addition to the 18 spins it received from WZPL and 14 spins it received from Live 95.5.

Leading the charge among new supporters is San Francisco’s 99-7 NOW, which played the song 12 times over the past seven days.

Indianapolis’ RadioNow 100.9 played the song 11 times within that window, while the Twin Cities’ 101.3 KDWB played it ten times.

San Francisco’s WiLD 94.9 and and Chattanooga’s 103.7 KISS each provided 8 spins.

“We Don’t Talk Anymore” is the follow-up to Puth’s Top 10 pop hit (and #1 Hot AC hit) “One Call Away.” It is being pushed as Gomez’ own “Kill Em With Kindness” is also working its way up the chart.
