Pop Radio Listeners Are Loving Ruth B’s “Lost Boy”

Proving that pop radio listeners are by no means averse to stripped, low-key, vocal-driven songs, the latest Mediabase callout report reveals a very favorable listener reaction to Ruth B’s “Lost Boy.”

“Lost Boy” received a positive rating from 65.2% of pop radio listeners, a negative rating from only 20.6% of listeners, and thus a net positive score of 44.5%.

It boasts the greatest positive and net positive scores among the 22 pop radio singles that appear in this week’s report. Its negative score is fifth-lowest.

“Lost Boy” was also identified as a “favorite” by a healthy 22.6% of listeners. That is the pop format’s third-greatest score, beneath only Justin Bieber’s enduring “Love Yourself” (26.7%) and LUkas Graham’s smash “7 Years” (24.8%).

“Lost Boy” appeared at #19 on the most recent Mediabase pop radio airplay chart.
