The Top 15 hit formally earned the honor on May 5, 2016.
A platinum certification confirms a US unit total of at least 1 million. One unit is equal to 1 paid download or 150 streams.
“Down In The DM” is Yo Gotti’s first platinum-certified single in the United States.
