AMC’s “Fear The Walking Dead” Falls To New Ratings Low

Last week’s slight uptick was not the start of a positive trend. Sunday’s “Fear The Walking Dead” slipped to new series lows in adults 18-49 and total viewership.

According to national data posted by Showbuzz, Sunday’s episode drew a 1.97 adults 18-49 rating and 4.41 million total viewers.

The numbers trail the 2.15 rating and 4.80 million viewership mark drawn by last week’s edition. They are also shy of the 2.12 and 4.73 million drawn by the April 24 episode, which previously represented series lows.

Of course, while these numbers may constitute “lows,” they are still stellar by television standards. Sunday’s “FTWD” was the night’s #3 program in adults 18-49 (behind only “Game Of Thrones” and an NBA playoffs game). It was cable’s #3 show in total viewers (again beneath those two programs).

“Fear The Walking Dead” has already been renewed for season three.
