Blink-182’s “Bored To Death” Erupts As Alternative Radio’s Most Added Song

In the epitome of an unsurprising story, Blink-182’s new single “Bored To Death” earns the week’s most added honor at alternative radio.

The new single, which is the band’s first with Tom DeLonge replacement Matt Skiba, was picked up by a whopping 57 Mediabase-monitored alternative stations in conjunction with this week’s impact.

The count more than triples that of the week’s next-most added song.

Young The Giant’s “Something To Believe In,” that song, was added by 15 stations this week.

Cage The Elephant’s “Trouble” and KONGOS’ “Take It From Me” tie for third with 8 adds each, while Weezer’s “King Of The World” claims fifth place with 6 adds.

This week’s other notable alternative radio options: Bishop Briggs’ “River” (5 adds, 6th, tie), Catfish And The Bottlemen’s “Soundcheck” (5 adds, 6th, tie), Barns Courtney’s “Fire” (4 adds, 8th, tie), Chris Cornell’s “Nothing Compares 2 U” (4 adds, 8th, tie), The Avett Brothers’ “Ain’t No Man” (3 adds, 10th, tie), Good Charlotte’s “40oz Dream” (3 adds, 10th, tie), Joywave’s “Destruction” (3 adds, 10th, tie), Kaleo’s “Way Down We Go” (3 adds, 10th, tie), Radiohead’s “Burn The Witch” (3 adds, 10th, tie), and The Unlikely Candidates’ “Your Love Could Start A War” (3 adds, 10th, tie).
