Kerry Washington, Shonda, Gronk, Ariana Grande Set For May 12 “Jimmy Kimmel” Taping (Updated)

Update: While Ariana Grande will be filming an mini-concert at the May 12 “Jimmy Kimmel Live” taping, the performance will not air on the May 12 episode. The episode will instead feature musical guest Goo Goo Dolls, as well as previously noted interview guests Kerry Washington, Shonda Rhimes, and Rob Gronkowski.

The airdate for Grande’s performance will be announced soon.

Last month, Republic Records’ promo team announced that Ariana Grande would be performing on the May 12 “Jimmy Kimmel Live.”

The 1iota ticketing website recently provided more details about that day’s “Kimmel” taping.

Per the website, the episode will also feature appearances by “Scandal” star Kerry Washington, “Scandal” showrunner Shonda Rhimes, and New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski.

Washington and Rhimes will be appearing following the fifth season “Scandal” finale, which is scheduled to air earlier on the night of May 12.

As for Grande, she will be performing an “outdoor mini-concert” at that day’s taping. The assumption — given Republic’s recent announcement — is that the performance will air on that evening’s episode, but it should be noted that ABC has not officially released broadcast plans.
