The CW’s “Reign” Ratings Slip For Monday Timeslot Premiere

While it remained above series low levels, Monday’s “Reign” trailed the previous episode in adults 18-49 and total viewership.

According to fast national data posted by Showbuzz, the episode drew a 0.3 adults 18-49 rating and 0.96 million total viewers. The numbers are both down from those of the previous broadcast, which posted a 0.4 rating and a season high 1.24 million viewership mark on Friday, January 22.

This week’s episode was the first to air in over three months — and the first to air in the show’s new Monday at 8PM timeslot.

As far as the timeslot goes, this week’s “Reign” matched last week’s “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend” season finale (0.3, 0.82 million) in the demo but led in total viewers.

“Reign” has already been renewed for a fourth season.

— Monday’s “Reign” led into “Jane The Virgin,” another modestly rated but already renewed CW series. This week’s episode drew a 0.4 and 0.83 million in the fast nationals. Last week’s posted a 0.4 and 0.96 million.
