Buzz over last week’s shocker (Liz Keen’s apparent death) did not spur a adults 18-49 ratings gain for NBC’s “The Blacklist.”
This week’s preliminary figure is even with last week’s preliminary mark and down a tick from last week’s final rating.
Total viewership, meanwhile, was up only slightly week-to-week.
According to fast national data posted by Showbuzz, Thursday’s “Blacklist” drew a 1.3 adults 18-49 rating and 6.85 million total viewers. Last week’s episode drew a 1.4 and 6.74 million in the finals.
While it is possible additional impact will be revealed in the live+3 and live+7 numbers, it is clear last week’s storyline did not increase enthusiasm over watching this week’s episode live.
NBC’s Thursday also included “Strong” (0.8, 3.03 million this week vs. 0.8, 3.28 million last week) and “Game Of Silence” (0.7, 3.50 million this week vs. 0.8, 3.90 million last week).
