The Chainsmokers’ “Roses” Reaches 2X Platinum In The United States

The Chainsmokers’ hit “Roses” is officially a multi-platinum single in the United States.

The song, which attained platinum status in January, ascended to double platinum on April 7, 2016.

Double platinum indicates a US unit total of at least 2 million. One unit is equal to 1 paid download or 150 streams.

“Roses,” which features vocals from ROZES, peaked at #6 on the Billboard Hot 100. It surpassed breakthrough hit “#SELFIE” to become The Chainsmokers’ highest charting single in the US.
