Rihanna & Drake’s “Work” Earns 8th Week at #1 on Hot 100; “Kiss It Better” Debuts at #80

Rihanna’s “Work (featuring Drake)” predictably extends its reign on the Billboard Hot 100.

This week marks the song’s eighth consecutive frame on top of the all-encompassing chart. It, meanwhile, represents Rihanna’s 59th career week at #1 on the Hot 100.

In securing a 59th cumulative week on top, Rihanna ties The Beatles for #2 on the all-time list. Only Mariah Carey, with a total of 79 weeks, has spent more time atop the Hot 100.

As “Work” celebrates its eighth week at #1, another Rihanna single officially enters the chart. “Kiss It Better,” the pop follow-up to “Work,” debuts at #80. She is also represented on the chart by urban-leaning “ANTI” single “Needed Me,” which rises to #47.
