The Lumineers’ “Cleopatra” Pacing To Win Weekly US Album Sales Race

Based on its opening day performance, The Lumineers’ “Cleopatra” is pacing to win the weekly US album sales race.

Hits Daily Double says the act’s sophomore album is on track to sell 75-80,000 US copies during the April 8-14 tracking week. That should easily produce a #1 position on this week’s Top Album Sales.

“Cleopatra” should also lead the Billboard 200 consumption chart. With TEA (track sales/10) and SEA (track streams/1500) added to its pure sales total, the album is on track for a first week consumption total of 80-85,000 units.

HDD’s projections for other newcomers include 38-43,000 sales (and 40-45,000 units) for “Gore” 14-17,000 sales (and 15-18,000 units) for Zakk Wylde’s “Book Of Shadows II.”
