Fitz And The Tantrums’ “HandClap” Erupts As Alternative Radio’s Most Added Song

Aided by instant launch support from iHeartMedia’s network of stations and considerable buzz, Fitz And The Tantrums’ “HandClap” easily ranks as the week’s most added song at alternative radio.

The single earned adds from a whopping 33 Mediabase-monitored alternative stations this week. The count more than quadruples that of the second-most added song.

Silversun Pickups’ “Circadian Rhythm (Last Dance)” follows with 6 adds, while Catfish And The Bottlemen’s “Soundcheck” and The 1975’s “The Sound” tie for fourth place with 5 adds each.

This week’s other notable alternative options: Bishop’s “River” (4 adds, 6th, tie), Dreamers’ “Drugs” (4 adds, 6th, tie), Miike Snow’s “Genghis Khan” (4 adds, 6th, tie), Weezer’s “King Of The World” (4 adds, 6th, tie), Bear Hands’ “2am” (3 adds, 10th, tie), Chef’Special “In Your Arms” (3 adds, 10th, tie), and Jake Bugg’s “Gimme The Love” (3 adds, 10th, tie).
