For HBO’s “Togetherness,” the April 10 second season finale will also serve as a series finale.
The premium network confirmed that it has opted not to pursue a third season of the comedy.
“Togetherness” has been a modest performer across its first season-and-a-half, and there has been unfortunately no indication that growth is on the horizon.
While well received by critics, “Togetherness” is light on buzz — particularly of the awards show variety. The absence of that vanity factor meant the comedy had no obvious compensation for its low viewership levels.
