US Sales Forecast Says ZAYN’s “Mind Of Mine” Will Debut With 150-175K

Last week, Hits Daily Double noted that ZAYN’s forthcoming solo debut “Mind Of Mine” had banked roughly 30,000 pre-orders. RCA sources were eyeing a first-week US consumption total (album sales + track sales + streams) in excess of 200,000.

Tuesday, the publication provided additional details. It noted that pre-orders were expected to top 40,000 by the time the album formally arrived for purchase on Friday.

It also said that the album is expected to sell 150-175,000 US albums during its first week of release (pure sales only; pre-orders included). The inclusion of TEA (track sales/10) and SEA (track streams/1500) would result in the aforementioned 200K+ consumption total.

The respective sales and consumption figures should comfortably slot “Mind Of Mine” at #1 on the Billboard Top Album Sales and Billboard 200 charts.
