Katy Perry, Dolly Parton Performing Duet At ACM Awards; Parton To Receive Tex Ritter Award

CBS and the Academy of Country Music have confirmed two new superstar performers for the April 3 ACM Awards ceremony.

Here’s the twist: only one is from the country genre.

Per an official press release, pop hitmaker Katy Perry will join country icon Dolly Parton for an “unforgettable duet” at the annual ceremony.

Parton will additionally receive the Tex Ritter award for her successful TV movie “Coat Of Many Colors.”

Other confirmed ACM Awards performers include Jason Aldean, Kelsea Ballerini, Dierks Bentley, Luke Bryan, Cam, Kenny Chesney, Eric Church, Brett Eldredge, Sam Hunt, Tim McGraw, Thomas Rhett, Chris Stapleton, Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, Chris Young with Cassadee Pope and Florida Georgia Line.

Bentley and Bryan co-host the ceremony, which airs at 8PM ET on April 3.
