Freeform’s “Young & Hungry” Begins Production On Fourth Season

Freeform has officially ordered a fourth season of original comedy “Young & Hungry.”

Production on the new season commenced Monday, March 7.

“’Young & Hungry is the first series we’ve renewed under the new Freeform banner. It remains a staple in our comedy diet. The show’s humor, quality and wonderful actors fit perfectly with our evolving brand,” said Freeform’s Karey Burke.

In a press release regarding the renewal, Freeform touted the show’s strength from a competitive standpoint. It its timeslot’s #1 scripted cable original in key young adult demographics.

The show stars Emily Osment, Jonathan Sadowski, Aimee Carrero, Kym Whitley and Rex Lee.
