For the second straight week, a song leaps past Carrie Underwood’s “Heartbeat” to reach #1 on the Mediabase country radio singles chart.
Last week, it was Keith Urban’s “Break On Me.” This week, it is Randy Houser’s “We Went,” which enjoys a two-position rise to #1.
Not simply the leader in Mediabase chart points, “We Went” is also the Mediabase country panel’s most played song this week. It received a format-leading ~8,655 spins during the February 28-March 5 tracking week (+952).
Underwood’s “Heartbeat,” however, leads in weekly audience impressions. It received ~61.052 million, while “We Went” amassed ~60.929 million for the official tracking period.
Up one place, Zac Brown Band’s “Beautiful Drug” takes #3 this week. The aforementioned “Break On Me” falls three places to #4, while Cole Swindell’s “You Should Be Here” enjoys a three-place lift to #5.
