Zendaya & Chris Brown’s “Something New” Headed For Top 20 at Rhythmic Radio

Currently in its third week on the Mediabase rhythmic airplay chart, Zendaya’s “Something New (featuring Chris Brown)” is poised to reach the Top 20.

“Something New” received 1,418 spins during the first five days of the February 28-March 5 tracking week. Up 32.2% from the count at the same time last week, the tally positions “Something New” at #20 on Mediabase’s building airplay chart.

Facing no imminent threat from below, “Something New” should not slip below #20 as the tracking week concludes.

It may actually end up moving higher. “Something New” appears likely to overtake fading Drake & Future’s “Jumpman,” which is #19 on the building chart. Its position would also improve by one place if Fetty Wap’s “Again” falls below #10 at the conclusion of the tracking week; doing so would result in “Again” being removed as a recurrent, thus causing all songs below “Again” to rise.

“Something New” is concurrently #28 on the building pop chart and #41 on the building urban chart.
