Justin Bieber’s “Company” Will Blast Into Pop Radio’s Top 40 This Week

While it is too early to project exactly where Justin Bieber’s “Company” will land on this week’s Mediabase pop radio airplay chart, it is safe to conclude it will be comfortably within the Top 40.

The fourth “Purpose” single received 591 pop spins during the first three days of the February 28-March 5 tracking week. Up 901.7% from the count at this point last week, the tally positions “Company” at #35 on Mediabase’s building chart.

Forget simply maintaining its Top 40 position; given its rapid rate of gains, it should have no trouble soaring higher as the tracking week progresses.

“Company” carries a formal impact date of March 8 but has already been added by at least 49 stations. The list includes heavy-hitters like New York’s Z100 and Los Angeles’ 102.7 KIIS.

Bieber will also be represented in the Top 40 — and, in fact, the Top 10 — with fellow “Purpose” singles “Love Yourself” and “Sorry.”
