Keith Urban’s “Break On Me” Officially Claims #1 at Country Radio

Keith Urban’s “Break On Me,” which was #5 on last week’s chart, vaults to #1 on this week’s Mediabase country radio singles chart.

In doing so, the “Ripcord” single becomes Urban’s fourth straight Mediabase #1. The streak also encompasses fellow “Ripcord” single “John Cougar, John Deere, John 3:16” and “Fuse” singles “Raise ‘Em Up” and “Somewhere In My Car.”

Not simply the leader in Mediabase chart points, “Break On Me” also ranks as the Mediabase country panel’s most-played and most-heard song for the February 21-27 tracking week.

Urban’s tune received ~8,359 Mediabase-monitored spins (+1,171) and ~58.506 million Mediabase-monitored impressions).

Carrie Underwood’s “Heartbeat,” which rises to #2 on the overall chart, is also #2 for spins (~7,812) and audience (~58.086 million).

Up one place, Randy Houser’s “We Went” takes #3 on this week’s Mediabase chart. Zac Brown Band’s “Beautiful Drug” rises three places to #4, while Granger Smith’s former #1 “Backroad Song” slips three places to #5.

Kelsea Ballerini’s “Dibs,” which led last week’s chart, sinks to #6. Its weekly spin count trails last week’s by a whopping 2,071.
