Ratings: “The X-Files” Falls Against Grammys, “Lucifer” Down Slightly

While “The X-Files” was FOX’s more successful Monday night broadcast, lead-out “Lucifer” deserves credit for holding up better against CBS’ mammoth Grammy Awards ceremony.

Per fast national data, Monday’s “The X-Files” drew a 2.1 adults 18-49 rating and 7.068 million total viewers. In addition to losing to CBS’ Grammys (final ratings pending), it lost to ABC’s “The Bachelor” (2.2 with 7.222 million in the 8PM slot, 2.2 with 7.147 million from 8-10PM).

Last week’s “The X-Files” drew a 2.5 adults 18-49 rating and 8.305 million total viewers.

The aforementioned “Lucifer” followed with a 1.6 rating and an audience of 5.153 million total viewers. The numbers only narrowly trail the 1.7 adults 18-49 rating and 5.465 million marks drawn last week.
