Rachel Platten’s “Stand By You” Holds #1 at Hot AC; Justin Bieber’s “Sorry” Enters Top 5

Rachel Platten’s “Stand By You” is still standing tall above the competition at hot adult contemporary radio.

Spun ~6,209 times during the February 7-13 tracking week (+70), Platten’s single earns a second week atop the Mediabase Hot AC chart.

“Stand By You” is Platten’s second multi-week #1 at Hot AC radio. Previous single “Fight Song” spent four weeks atop the chart.

Up three places, twenty one pilots’ multi-format smash “Stressed Out” grabs #2 on this week’s Hot AC listing. It received ~5,670 weekly spins (+413).

Ellie Goulding’s former #1 “On My Mind” slips one place to #3 with ~5,411 spins (-684). Shawn Mendes’ “Stitches,” also a former chart-topper, also slips one place. It takes #4 courtesy ~5,289 weekly spins (-551).

Despite suffering a decline in weekly airplay, Justin Bieber’s “Sorry” rises one place to #5. The song, which is making its first Top 5 appearance at Hot AC, received ~5,158 weekly spins (-22).
