The Lumineers’ “Ophelia” Ranks As Alternative Radio’s Most Added Song

Aided by launch day support from iHeartRadio and a healthy dose of buzz, The Lumineers’ new “Ophelia” earns the most added honor at alternative radio.

“Ophelia” received adds from a format-leading 18 Mediabase-monitored stations this week. The count doubles that of the next-most added song.

Empire Of The Sun’s “Walking On A Dream,” that song, follows with 9 adds.

Each picked up by 6 stations, AWOLNATION’s “Woman Woman,” Deftones’ “Prayers/Triangles,” and Miike Snow’s “Genghis Khan” tie for third-most added.

This week’s other notable alternative radio options: Declan McKenna’s “Brazil” (5 adds, 6th-most, tie), Joywave’s “Destruction” (5, 6th, tie), twenty one pilots’ “Ride” (5, 6th, tie), Aurora’s “Conqueror” (3, 9th, tie), BORNS’ “10,000 Emerald Pools” (3, 9th, tie), Elle King’s “Under The Influence” (3, 9th, tie), Halsey’s “Colors” (3, 9th, tie), The Heavy’s “Since You Been Gone” (3, 9th, tie), Holy White Hounds’ “Switch Blade” (3, 9th, tie), Kurt Vile’s “Pretty Pimpin” (3, 9th, tie), Panic!
