CBS’ “Angel From Hell” Pulled From Schedule

Following five weeks of unimpressive ratings, “Angel From Hell” has been pulled from CBS’ schedule.

CBS has yet to use the dirty word in a formal press release, but sources say the comedy has indeed been cancelled by the network. It is CBS’ first casualty of the 2015-16 television season — and it did not premiere until this January.

A “The Big Bang Theory” re-run will occupy its 9:30PM timeslot this Thursday. “2 Broke Girls” will shift to the slot beginning the following week.

While not a bad performer by overall television standards, “Angel From Hell” has been the clear weak link of CBS’ Thursday lineup. This past week’s episode drew a 1.4 adults 18-49 rating and 6.341 million total viewers following episodes of “The Big Bang Theory” (3.8, 15.290m), “Life In Pieces” (2.2, 9.087m), and “Mom” (1.7, 7.955m).
