Ratings: “SNL” Stays Above Season Averages For Larry David, The 1975 Episode

Preliminary ratings for this weekend’s “Saturday Night Live,” which featured host Larry David and musical guest The 1975, bested season averages.

Per Nielsen metered market data, the episode drew a 5.1 overnight household rating. It posted a 2.4 adults 18-49 rating in the Top 25 markets (those with local people meters).

The numbers top the season averages, which are a 4.7 in overnight households and 2.2 in local people meter adults 18-49.

They are similar to those drawn by the previous episode. Airing on January 23, the Ronda Rousey-Selena Gomez edition of “SNL” drew a 5.0 overnight household and a 2.5 A18-49 rating in the Top 25 markets.

In addition to the advertised host and musical guest, Saturday’s “SNL” featured appearances by Bernie Sanders and Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson (as their “Zoolander” characters).

“SNL” returns next week with host Melissa McCarthy and musical guest Kanye West.
