“Stand By You” is on the verge of becoming Rachel Platten’s second chart-topper at hot adult contemporary radio.
The song, which received 5,222 Hot AC spins during the first six days of the January 31-February 6 tracking week (+3.7%), is #1 on Mediabase’s building chart.
Ellie Goulding’s “On My Mind,” which topped last week’s official Mediabase listing, is #2 on the building chart. While its intraweek spin count (5,208) only narrowly trails that of “Stand By You,” it does not possess the same momentum.
“Stand By You” is up 3.7% on a week-to-week basis, while “On My Mind” is down 2.8%.
Platten’s song was #3 on last week’s official chart.
