Adele’s “25” is back atop the US album sales mountain.
The album, which was the runner-up in the past two weekly sales races, rockets back to #1 on the Billboard Top Album Sales chart.
This week’s victory, which marks its eighth week atop the chart, comes courtesy 97,074 in weekly US album sales.
With Track Equivalent Albums (track sales/10) and Streaming Equivalent Albums (track streams/1500) added to the pure sales total, “25” generated 116,000 in weekly consumption units. That thrusts “25” back to #1 (also for an eighth week) on the consumption-oriented Billboard 200.
