Adam Lambert’s “Ghost Town” Receives Gold Certification in the US

The lead single from Adam Lambert’s “The Original High” is gold in the United States.

Lambert’s “Ghost Town” formally received the RIAA distinction on January 15, 2016.

Under the terms of the RIAA’s digital singles program, the gold honor confirms a US unit total of at least 500,000. One unit is equal to 1 paid download or 100 streams.

“Ghost Town” is Lambert’s first gold-certified single in the United States. His only other certification is for the album “For Your Entertainment,” which went gold under the RIAA’s standard program (500,000 shipped US copies).

Officially released on April 21, 2015, “Ghost Town” peaked at #64 on the Billboard Hot 100.
