Thomas Rhett’s smash single “Die A Happy Man” extends its reign atop the Mediabase country radio singles chart.
In posting the greatest Mediabase chart points total for the January 3-9 tracking week, “Happy Man” earns a third straight week at #1 on the Mediabase chart. Going into this week, it had already spent three frames atop the corresponding Billboard Country Airplay chart.
Not simply the leader in Mediabase chart points, Rhett’s single repeats as the Mediabase country panel’s most-played and most-heard song.
“Die A Happy Man” garnered approximately 8,567 Mediabase-monitored plays (+71) and 62.558 million Mediabase-monitored impressions during the official tracking period.
The entire Top 5 of this week’s chart matches that of last week. Jason Aldean’s “Gonna Know We Were Here” remains #2, while LoCash’s “I Love This Life” (#3), Brothers Osborne’s “Stay A Little Longer” (#4) and Sam Hunt’s “Break Up In A Small Town” successfully complete the Top 5.
While the Top 5 is without a new addition, the Top 10 is not.
Up three places, Granger Smith’s “Backroad Song” takes #9 on this week’s Mediabase listing. “Backroad Song” is the most recent iHeartRadio “On The Verge” song at country radio.
Kelsea Ballerini’s “Dibs,” meanwhile, enjoys a one-place lift to #10. “Dibs” is the follow-up to Ballerini’s debut single “Love Me Like You Mean It,” which hit #1 on the Mediabase and Billboard charts.
