Adele’s “Hello” Rules Hot 100 For 8th Week; Jordan Smith’s “Mary, Did You Know?” Leads Sales Chart

Adele’s “Hello” again ranks as the hottest song in America.

The smash hit earns an eighth straight week atop the Billboard Hot 100. In doing so, it becomes Adele’s longest-reigning single.

Her Grammy-winning smash “Rolling In The Deep,” which previously held the distinction, ruled for seven weeks.

Though it still ranks as America’s hottest overall song, “Hello” is #2 on two of the key component charts.

With a weekly US sales total of 153,000, it trails Jordan Smith’s “Mary, Did You Know?” (161,000) on Digital Songs. “The Voice” winner’s top weekly single debuts at #24 on the overall Hot 100.

As previously reported, it also trails Justin Bieber’s “Sorry” on Streaming Songs. “Hello” received 21.6 million weekly US streams; “Sorry” garnered 23.7 million. “Sorry” is #2 on the Hot 100.

“Hello” does, however, remain #1 on Radio Songs. With 170 million weekly impressions, it again ranks as the most-heard song on America’s airwaves.

The Top 10 of this week’s Hot 100 follows:

1) Adele – Hello
2) Justin Bieber – Sorry
3) Drake – Hotline Bling
4) Justin Bieber – Love Yourself
5) Justin Bieber – What Do You Mean?
6) Selena Gomez – Same Old Love
7) The Weeknd – The Hills
8) Alessia Cara – Here
9) Shawn Mendes – Stitches
10) Meghan Trainor – Like I’m Gonna Lose You (featuring John Legend)
