With dust from this week’s “The Voice” finale beginning to settle, radio singles have regained control of the iTunes single sales chart’s uppermost reaches.
That means Q4 smashes like Adele’s “Hello” (#1), Justin Bieber’s “Love Yourself” (#2), and Justin Bieber’s “Sorry” (#3) are back at the top of the chart.
It also means emerging hits have been able to reach prominent heights.
Positioned directly beneath Jordan Smith’s “Mary, Did You Know,” the lone “Voice” song still in the Top 10, is twenty one pilots’ “Stressed Out.” The alternative smash, which has been soaring at pop and hot adult contemporary radio, is up to #5 on the all-genre iTunes chart.
Thomas Rhett’s “Die A Happy Man” is back up to #6 on the listing, while Cole Swindell’s newly released “You Should Be Here” is up to #7. Cam’s “Burning House,” which has benefited from peak country radio airplay, a performance on the TODAY Show and an Emily Ann Roberts cover on Monday’s “The Voice,” is #8.
Top 10 regulars from Drake (“Hotline Bling)” and Selena Gomez (“Same Old Love”) complete the Top 10.
